# Sideline vs OMI

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OMI at 100% against Sideline's 35%. OMI also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 10). Sideline's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 1) and chart position (#26 vs unranked). On price, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sideline sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. OMI asks for nothing beyond the download.

OMI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sideline has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 35% of Sideline's written reviews are positive against 100% of OMI's.

Sideline ships an update every 2 weeks, OMI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
