# Sideline vs Dead Note

The clearest difference is rating: Sideline at 4.4 against Dead Note's 3.7. Sideline also leads on ratings volume (15K vs 3) and chart position (#22 vs unranked). Dead Note's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and device support (3 vs 1). On price and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sideline sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Dead Note asks for nothing beyond the download.

Sideline holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sideline has 15K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
