# Taco Cabana vs MOD Pizza

The clearest difference is ads: Taco Cabana at none against MOD Pizza's shown. Taco Cabana also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 months) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). MOD Pizza's advantage is ratings volume (214K vs 23K) and chart position (#194 vs unranked). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Taco Cabana against 4.9 for MOD Pizza. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MOD Pizza has 214K ratings behind it against 23K, so its average is the more settled of the two.
