# Train Snake vs PixWords® Scenes

Train Snake and PixWords® Scenes both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 76% of PixWords® Scenes's written reviews are positive against 33% of Train Snake's. PixWords® Scenes also leads on ratings volume (3.1K vs 2). Train Snake's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Train Snake sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and PixWords® Scenes sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Train Snake holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PixWords® Scenes has 3.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Train Snake's written reviews are positive against 76% of PixWords® Scenes's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Train Snake ships an update weekly, PixWords® Scenes monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
