# Turtles vs Troll Master

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Turtles at 100% against Troll Master's 54%. Turtles also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (9.1 vs 12.0). Troll Master's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 17 months) and rating (4.1 vs 3.7). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Turtles sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Troll Master sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Troll Master holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Troll Master has 1.7K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Turtles's written reviews are positive against 54% of Troll Master's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Turtles ships an update every 17 months, Troll Master every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
