# Complete Ear Trainer vs Absolute Ear

The clearest difference is update cadence: Absolute Ear at every 3 days against Complete Ear Trainer's fortnightly. Absolute Ear also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Complete Ear Trainer's advantage is ratings volume (199 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Complete Ear Trainer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Absolute Ear sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
