# EggHatcher vs Flockstar

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Flockstar at 82% against EggHatcher's 44%. Flockstar also leads on rating (4.4 vs 3.9) and ratings volume (139 vs 22). EggHatcher's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EggHatcher sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Flockstar sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
