# FN Cam vs Camera Connect & Control

The clearest difference is rating: Camera Connect & Control at 3.9 against FN Cam's 2.3. Camera Connect & Control also leads on ratings volume (725 vs 3) and update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months). FN Cam's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Camera Connect & Control sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. FN Cam asks for nothing beyond the download.

Camera Connect & Control holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Camera Connect & Control has 725 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of FN Cam's written reviews are positive against 47% of Camera Connect & Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FN Cam ships an update every 4 months, Camera Connect & Control monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
