# ToDo List vs Laps

The clearest difference is ads: Laps at none against ToDo List's shown. Laps also leads on update cadence (every 6 months vs every 13 months). ToDo List's advantage is iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToDo List sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Laps sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ToDo List ships an update every 13 months, Laps every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
