# Amber vs Snip and Save

The clearest difference is update cadence: Snip and Save at every 2 weeks against Amber's monthly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amber ships an update monthly, Snip and Save every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
