# Dwelo vs Pynwheel Tour

The clearest difference is rating: Dwelo at 3.7 against Pynwheel Tour's 3.0. Dwelo also leads on ratings volume (864 vs 4). Pynwheel Tour's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dwelo holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dwelo has 864 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Dwelo's written reviews are positive against 29% of Pynwheel Tour's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dwelo ships an update every 2 months, Pynwheel Tour monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
