# Indeed Flex vs shiftNOW

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Indeed Flex at 7.8K against shiftNOW's 506. Indeed Flex also leads on chart position (#93 vs unranked). shiftNOW's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 32%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Indeed Flex holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Indeed Flex has 7.8K ratings behind it against 506, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of Indeed Flex's written reviews are positive against 42% of shiftNOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Indeed Flex ships an update weekly, shiftNOW every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
