# Location Fix vs The Location App

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Location Fix at none against The Location App's 3. Location Fix also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 11 months) and iOS requirement (18.2 vs 27.0). The Location App's advantage is ratings volume (47 vs 1).
