# Daily Echo vs AA Grapevine

The clearest difference is monetization model: AA Grapevine at free with in-app purchases against Daily Echo's subscription. AA Grapevine also leads on review sentiment (31% vs 6%) and update cadence (every 4 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Echo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per month and AA Grapevine sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
