# Ride Freebee vs Poseidon Ferry

The clearest difference is rating: Ride Freebee at 4.7 against Poseidon Ferry's 4.0. Ride Freebee also leads on ratings volume (25K vs 4). Poseidon Ferry's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 33%) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Ride Freebee holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ride Freebee has 25K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Ride Freebee's written reviews are positive against 50% of Poseidon Ferry's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ride Freebee ships an update every 2 weeks, Poseidon Ferry every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
