# Anim8 vs F.A.T

The clearest difference is price: F.A.T at Free against Anim8's $19.99. F.A.T also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 9 months) and rating (3.2 vs 3.0). Anim8's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1). On review sentiment, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

F.A.T holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 22 and 51 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Anim8's written reviews are positive against 41% of F.A.T's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
