# iHideIt vs Session

The clearest difference is rating: Session at 4.4 against iHideIt's 3.7. Session also leads on ratings volume (5.2K vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). iHideIt's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and iOS requirement (8.3 vs 15.6). On price, ads, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Session sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per month. iHideIt asks for nothing beyond the download.

Session holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7.
