# TRASOL vs QuickDOPE

The clearest difference is review sentiment: QuickDOPE at 100% against TRASOL's 52%. QuickDOPE also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 10 months) and rating (4.4 vs 4.0). TRASOL's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (40 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TRASOL sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QuickDOPE sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuickDOPE holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TRASOL has 40 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of TRASOL's written reviews are positive against 100% of QuickDOPE's.

TRASOL ships an update every 10 months, QuickDOPE weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
