# JWed vs YUConnects

The clearest difference is rating: YUConnects at 3.9 against JWed's 2.0. YUConnects also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). JWed's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (57 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. JWed sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and YUConnects sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

YUConnects holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JWed has 57 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

JWed ships an update fortnightly, YUConnects every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
