# Daily Express Newspaper vs Cornwall Live

The clearest difference is monetization model: Cornwall Live at freemium against Daily Express Newspaper's subscription. Cornwall Live also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 4 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). Daily Express Newspaper's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daily Express Newspaper sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Cornwall Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cornwall Live holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 24 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of Daily Express Newspaper's written reviews are positive against 33% of Cornwall Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Daily Express Newspaper ships an update every 4 months, Cornwall Live monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
