# Red Button vs Clicka!

The clearest difference is update cadence: Clicka! at every 8 days against Red Button's every 130 months. Clicka! also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (2.9K vs 76). Red Button's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Red Button sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Clicka! sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Clicka! holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Clicka! has 2.9K ratings behind it against 76, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Red Button's written reviews are positive against 95% of Clicka!'s.

Red Button ships an update every 130 months, Clicka! every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
