# FailArmy vs Morph Booth

The clearest difference is update cadence: FailArmy at every 2 months against Morph Booth's every 60 months. FailArmy also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 313). Morph Booth's advantage is review sentiment (70% vs 54%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FailArmy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: FailArmy has 1.7K ratings behind it against 313, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of FailArmy's written reviews are positive against 70% of Morph Booth's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FailArmy ships an update every 2 months, Morph Booth every 60 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
