# Basecamp vs EVA ROP

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EVA ROP at 100% against Basecamp's 65%. EVA ROP also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Basecamp's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (21K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EVA ROP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Basecamp has 21K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
