# KurtMaster2D vs Construct Up

The clearest difference is rating: KurtMaster2D at 5.0 against Construct Up's 3.1. KurtMaster2D also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Construct Up's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KurtMaster2D holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Construct Up has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

KurtMaster2D ships an update every 2 months, Construct Up every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 16, 2026 respectively.
