# Modo Carshare vs Bunz

The clearest difference is rating: Modo Carshare at 5.0 against Bunz's 4.4. Modo Carshare also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Bunz's advantage is ratings volume (309 vs 4). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Modo Carshare holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bunz has 309 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 15% of Modo Carshare's written reviews are positive against 19% of Bunz's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Modo Carshare ships an update fortnightly, Bunz every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
