# Great Learning vs upGrad

The clearest difference is rating: upGrad at 4.8 against Great Learning's 4.1. Great Learning's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (62% vs 49%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. upGrad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Great Learning asks for nothing beyond the download.

upGrad holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 102 and 299 respectively.
