# wikifit vs Shape Update

The clearest difference is update cadence: wikifit at every 3 days against Shape Update's every 9 days. Shape Update's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. wikifit sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Shape Update sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

wikifit ships an update every 3 days, Shape Update every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
