# Continuo vs Chrono

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Chrono at none against Continuo's 3. Chrono also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 80%) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Continuo's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (278 vs 1). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Continuo sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Chrono asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chrono holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Continuo has 278 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 80% of Continuo's written reviews are positive against 100% of Chrono's.

Continuo ships an update every 9 days, Chrono every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
