# TEL3 vs BBCall

The clearest difference is rating: BBCall at 3.0 against TEL3's 1.6. TEL3's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 months). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BBCall sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. TEL3 asks for nothing beyond the download.

BBCall holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TEL3 has 87 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TEL3 ships an update fortnightly, BBCall every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
