# My Tello vs temi

The clearest difference is ads: temi at none against My Tello's shown. temi also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). My Tello's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 25) and rating (4.3 vs 4.1). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

My Tello holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Tello has 1.9K ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of My Tello's written reviews are positive against 50% of temi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

My Tello ships an update every 3 weeks, temi every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
