# My Tello vs New REF Global

The clearest difference is rating: New REF Global at 5.0 against My Tello's 4.3. New REF Global also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). My Tello's advantage is ratings volume (1.9K vs 1) and chart position (#155 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

New REF Global holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Tello has 1.9K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
