# Scan Hero vs Scanner App

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Scanner App at 100% against Scan Hero's 66%. Scanner App also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Scan Hero's advantage is ratings volume (242K vs 1) and chart position (#36 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scan Hero sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Scanner App sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
