# TurboScan™ vs Secure Scanner

The clearest difference is review sentiment: TurboScan™ at 88% against Secure Scanner's 50%. TurboScan™ also leads on ratings volume (101K vs 49) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). Secure Scanner's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TurboScan™ sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Secure Scanner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TurboScan™ holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TurboScan™ has 101K ratings behind it against 49, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of TurboScan™'s written reviews are positive against 50% of Secure Scanner's.

TurboScan™ ships an update every 3 months, Secure Scanner every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
