The speedometer, trip tracker and driving dashboard in one free app — for the car and the bike. BIG, CLEAR SPEEDOMETER • A large gauge you can read at a glance, in km/h or mph • Car and Bike modes, each with its own gauge scale • Average and max speed, altitude, heading and GPS accuracy • Odometer that does not creep while you are parked SPEED LIMIT ALERTS • The current road's speed limit shown as a road sign next to your speed • The sign turns red, the phone vibrates and chimes when you go over • Voice announcements for new speed limits and trip progress, so your eyes stay on the road HUD WINDSHIELD MODE & SPEED-ONLY SCREEN • Mirror the speed onto your windshield at night • Or go full screen with just big numbers, no map • Live speed on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island while a trip runs • Screen stays awake while the speedometer is open SPEED CAMERA ALERTS (OPTIONAL) • Fixed speed cameras from OpenStreetMap, with a chime and voice warning • Community data: coverage varies, always follow the posted limit • Not available in countries where camera warnings are not allowed SMART MAP • Heading-up map that turns with you, and auto zoom at highway speed • Live traffic overlay in Car mode • Map tiles cached for 30 days, so the map keeps working in tunnels and dead zones • Parking pin: find your car where the last trip ended TRIPS, STATS & EXPORT • Start and stop with one big button, or let auto trip detection do it • Every route drawn on the map and saved in your history • 7-day, monthly and all-time statistics • Export GPX for Strava, Garmin Connect or Komoot, or CSV for a spreadsheet • Share a trip card to any app or save it to Photos • Trip cost from your fuel use and price • Speed correction to match your car's speedometer NEARBY PLACES • Gas stations, EV chargers and rest stops when driving • Bike repair, water points, bike parking and cycle routes when riding • One tap opens directions in your maps app No account needed — your trips and routes are stored on your device. Light, dark and automatic themes. Free with ads — remove them with a one-time purchase, never a subscription. Note: continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life.

About

MapTrack with Photos

Features

-This app marks your path on a map from where you started to walk or drive to where your current location is. The app works even when put in the background (i.e. when the home button was pressed). -Latitude, longitude, speed, course (heading), elevation, total distance traveled in kilometres and miles and a date and time stamp are shown on a map overlay in real time. -Waypoint pins are dropped on the map by a long touch and callouts are displayed by a regular touch on the pins. This latter action displays the point of interest entered previously in a text field, a thumbnail of a photo that was taken with the device's camera or selected from the "Photos" app and the distance traveled at the time the pin was dropped. -An unlimited number of waypoints can be dropped, but the number of waypoints that include a photo is limited to 12. -The text field together with a "Search" button can also be used as input for searching locations. -A pair of "Pause" and "Resume" buttons stops tracking and starts tracking again. This function is useful when the device is stationary for longer periods of time. -Screenshots could be made at any time to record the progression of map tracking with a tap on a "Save" button. -On the "Settings" view there are 6 accuracy modes. -Detailed instructions are provided on a separate "Info" view. -No account sign-up, log-in, or in-app purchases are necessary. Just install and run. -This app may use your location even when it isn't open, which can decrease device battery life.
