# BFBS Player vs World TV GO

The clearest difference is rating: BFBS Player at 5.0 against World TV GO's 2.6. BFBS Player also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ads (none vs shown). World TV GO's advantage is review sentiment (42% vs 19%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. World TV GO sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. BFBS Player asks for nothing beyond the download.

BFBS Player holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: World TV GO has 25 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 19% of BFBS Player's written reviews are positive against 42% of World TV GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BFBS Player ships an update every 6 months, World TV GO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
