# PRessr. vs RaceChrono Pro

The clearest difference is price: PRessr. at Free against RaceChrono Pro's $19.99. PRessr. also leads on review sentiment (93% vs 57%). RaceChrono Pro's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (174 vs 16). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

PRessr. is free to download; RaceChrono Pro costs $19.99 up front. PRessr. sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and RaceChrono Pro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RaceChrono Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RaceChrono Pro has 174 ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of PRessr.'s written reviews are positive against 57% of RaceChrono Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

PRessr. ships an update every 3 weeks, RaceChrono Pro monthly. Both last shipped on October 16, 2026.
