# Moku vs Edison Go

The clearest difference is rating: Edison Go at 5.0 against Moku's 4.7. Moku's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (9 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Edison Go holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Moku has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Moku ships an update every 2 months, Edison Go every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
