# SWListener vs V960

The clearest difference is rating: V960 at 2.0 against SWListener's 1.4. V960 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 9 days vs every 5 weeks). SWListener's advantage is ratings volume (43 vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SWListener sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year. V960 asks for nothing beyond the download.

V960 holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SWListener has 43 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 6% of SWListener's written reviews are positive against 0% of V960's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

SWListener ships an update every 5 weeks, V960 every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
