# Where is OBD vs OBDGO PRO

The clearest difference is review sentiment: OBDGO PRO at 69% against Where is OBD's 29%. OBDGO PRO also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (31 vs 1). Where is OBD's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (8.4 vs 11.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Where is OBD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OBDGO PRO has 31 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of Where is OBD's written reviews are positive against 69% of OBDGO PRO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Where is OBD ships an update every 21 months, OBDGO PRO every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 14, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
