# Chromavid vs Binumi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Binumi at 100% against Chromavid's 34%. Binumi also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Chromavid's advantage is rating (3.1 vs 2.0) and ratings volume (465 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Chromavid holds the better App Store score, 3.1 against 2.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chromavid has 465 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Chromavid's written reviews are positive against 100% of Binumi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Chromavid ships an update every 2 months, Binumi every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
