# Block & Flow vs Tiny Timer

The clearest difference is rating: Tiny Timer at 4.5 against Block & Flow's 4.0. Block & Flow's advantage is review sentiment (72% vs 63%) and ratings volume (76 vs 22). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Block & Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Tiny Timer sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tiny Timer holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 76 and 22 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of Block & Flow's written reviews are positive against 63% of Tiny Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on September 29, 2026.
