# SelfTalking vs TORB

The clearest difference is ads: TORB at none against SelfTalking's shown. TORB also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SelfTalking sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and TORB sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SelfTalking ships an update every 5 weeks, TORB fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
