# AppClose vs ROCS Connect

The clearest difference is rating: AppClose at 4.7 against ROCS Connect's 3.7. AppClose also leads on ratings volume (39K vs 3) and chart position (#31 vs unranked). ROCS Connect's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 13%) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. AppClose sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month. ROCS Connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

AppClose holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AppClose has 39K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 13% of AppClose's written reviews are positive against 50% of ROCS Connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

AppClose ships an update monthly, ROCS Connect fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
