# Zmodo vs AI View

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: AI View at none against Zmodo's 10. AI View also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.1). Zmodo's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 weeks) and ratings volume (3.8K vs 51). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Zmodo sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. AI View asks for nothing beyond the download.

Zmodo holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zmodo has 3.8K ratings behind it against 51, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 7% of Zmodo's written reviews are positive against 10% of AI View's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Zmodo ships an update every 4 days, AI View every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
