# VendSoft vs VendVice

The clearest difference is rating: VendVice at 5.0 against VendSoft's 3.5. VendVice also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 8 months). VendSoft's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

VendVice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VendSoft has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

VendSoft ships an update every 8 months, VendVice every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
