# flowkey vs MuseFlow

The clearest difference is rating: flowkey at 4.7 against MuseFlow's 4.2. flowkey also leads on ratings volume (66K vs 5) and chart position (#66 vs unranked). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. flowkey sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and MuseFlow sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

flowkey holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: flowkey has 66K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 57% of flowkey's written reviews are positive against 50% of MuseFlow's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
