# flowkey vs NoteSwipe

The clearest difference is review sentiment: NoteSwipe at 100% against flowkey's 57%. flowkey's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. flowkey sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month and NoteSwipe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

flowkey holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: flowkey has 66K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of flowkey's written reviews are positive against 100% of NoteSwipe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

flowkey ships an update weekly, NoteSwipe every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
