# VoiceStream vs TCN

The clearest difference is rating: TCN at 4.4 against VoiceStream's 2.2. TCN also leads on review sentiment (62% vs 40%) and ratings volume (172 vs 5). VoiceStream's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (7.1 vs 15). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TCN holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TCN has 172 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of VoiceStream's written reviews are positive against 62% of TCN's.
