# Pro SMS Scheduler vs Reminderbase

The clearest difference is rating: Reminderbase at 4.5 against Pro SMS Scheduler's 3.4. Reminderbase also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (448 vs 17). Pro SMS Scheduler's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro SMS Scheduler sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Reminderbase sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Reminderbase holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Reminderbase has 448 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Pro SMS Scheduler ships an update fortnightly, Reminderbase every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
