# Pro SMS Scheduler vs Fext

The clearest difference is rating: Fext at 4.0 against Pro SMS Scheduler's 3.4. Fext also leads on ratings volume (550 vs 17) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Pro SMS Scheduler's advantage is review sentiment (39% vs 24%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pro SMS Scheduler sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Fext sells 16 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Fext holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Fext has 550 ratings behind it against 17, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 39% of Pro SMS Scheduler's written reviews are positive against 24% of Fext's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pro SMS Scheduler ships an update fortnightly, Fext every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
